I grew up to listening to Biggie, Nas, Jay-z, Mob Deep, Fabolous, but there was always something about Biggie that separated him from the rest. I remember walking around in high school reciting his rhymes, riding the subway with my walkman and biggie was always the tape of choice. He took over the game and it was taken away from him after he was shot and killed on March 9, 1997. His funeral drew out thousands and so many are still to this day saddened by his death. They took the life of one of the illest rappers to ever do it. Over a decade later and his legacy still lives on as if he just dropped a new single. Biggie took Hip Hop and created a pathway for so many today and when he passed he took a piece of Hip Hop with him. RIP Biggie Smalls your legacy will live on forever! So Katt is one hilarious dude and was definitely on the right track! What happened? His house in Calabasas is about to be foreclosed and his Phantom Rolls Royce was repossessed. Seriously why is it that comedians and singers want to steer to rapping after being so successful. Maybe now his broke ass will do the right thing and continue to make people laugh.

So Akon is speaking out on his success off of Lady Gaga! From multiple Grammy wins and millions of records sold if you turned your back on Gaga, Akon is laughing all the way to the bank. I refer to the day as “The Day of Destruction”. I remember the day as if it was just yesterday, definitley another tragedy that this nation has encountered. Looking at the pictures and seeing the amount of debris we had to endure and the 2,752 men, women and children who died at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 brings back a flood of memories. I’m sure we have all watched news reports and read newspapers after that defining moment, but never to the extent that these photos carry.
