Okay so here I am again putting someone else on blast and once again it’s well deserved. So as many of you know Hip Hop Gossip By Randa Hosts Unsigned Talent Showcase every nights Wednesday nights at Club Eden in downtown Miami. Now the shows are promotional events that lead to a few other things that are in the works for Unsigned Artists, not to mention a full spread on our site.

The thing that gets me upset is the fact that half of these artists do not know that they must learn how to humble themselves. You got so much talent out there and remaining humble allows you to move ahead for the simple fact that no one wants to deal with a self centered stuck up individual no matter how hot you think you might be. Stop worrying about getting paid for events if no one has even ever heard of you not to mention listened to any of your music other than coming across your page on Myspace.

So at last nights performance we had a few good shows which we will have full coverage on them once we are done editing the footage. From O Allen to J Perk, Headmaster and E.P.S. One of the acts did not show up and that was Shii. What bothers me the most is that her manager didn’t even have the audacity to cancel with sufficient time for replacement. They canceled a hour before the show. Now this young lady was approached and asked if she wanted to do a promotional event at Club Eden and she accepted. We got the confirmation and were getting ready to send the flyers to print when Ms. Diva was not happy with the picture we choose so I wanted to make her happy. I stopped the job from being sent to print and waited twenty four hours for her to send me the updated picture she wanted to us to use. Mind you the picture she choose didn’t compliment her image at all. The delay in the picture lead to a delay in the print of the flyers which took away a extra day of promotions that our street team could have pushed. I am not going to sit here and bash her and insult her in anyway just know one thing sweetie what you did last night was not a good look at all. At first I was pretty upset, but we had a great turn out and the show went on even though Ms. Hollywood decided to front last minute.

On a more positive note make sure to check back for exclusive footage from last nights event. I want to personally thank the talent that came out last night and look forward to working with all of them again in the near future. Lets Get It!

So Memorial weekend was crazy as usual in South Beach, Miami. I was up and through there this weekend networking, promoting, and partying. One thing that I definitely want to focus on and am actually doing something different with this blog is put Fat Tuesday (South Beach) On Blast!

If we know one thing about Fat’s is the drinks are great and the music is off the chain. Other than the fact that it’s a definite sweat box, South Florida definitely recognizes this spot as a chill spot.

There is one gentleman that I am going to put on blast because he deserves it. I do know that his name is Jose from people that actually know him. I have heard different stories from people that have had to actually be taken into custody because of this man’s nonsense. After what I witnessed yesterday I will do everything in my power to make sure this dude never does this again even though sad enough I am sure it won’t help much. There is something about this situation that I just can’t seem to shake. I witnessed something that I feel is very disturbing and should not have gone down the way it did.

There was a young clean-cut dude walking down the strip with a few of his friends they were obviously from out of town having a good time. Two bigger gentlemen are walking opposite direction right in front of Fat Tuesdays. The younger guy bumps into the bigger dudes and accidentally knocks one of their drinks out his hand. He apologizes and offers to buy him another drink. The bigger guy punches him in the face for no reason other then the fact that he was drunk and wanted to show off. I then notice JOSE who I believe is management of some sort go up to the bigger gentleman (obviously he knew them) and tell them to keep it moving, walk away. Instead of doing the same for the other guy he starts ruffling up this younger man.

I guess that wasn’t enough for him because by then all dude can do at this point is protect himself. I than turn to see a few security cards whooping on this poor dude. If that wasn’t the least of it once police got involved and witnessed the guy swinging on security staff (he was only defending himself) they advised Fat Tuesday Security to step back and then continuously tazed him. I was shocked at the way the whole situation played out. I knew he was an egotistical bastard, but I did not think he would let it get to the extreme that it got to. Who knows how many other individuals have gone through different situations similar to the horrific event that took place yesterday. I do not believe that the officers had any clue what initiated the whole thing so I can honesty say they saw a altercation and steeped in to immediately seize it, but I saw it play out from beginning to end and I must say that I am astonished and my prayers go out to this gentleman. I am sure this is a vacation that he will never forget.
